I'll be gone for a while...

 

 

Hello beauties,

 

So I feel like I need to explain myself a little on why I haven't been blogging recently. I'm sure you can all guess what I am going to say...uni work. I figured out I literally have just over 4 weeks to make all of my final garments for my collection before the catwalk shows start around mid-May. On top of that I need to figure out my business cards, my website, my boards and my sketchbook so as you can probably tell the next few weeks are going to be very stressful indeed!

 

Therefore, I have come to the decision that there is no way I will be able to blog for the next few weeks, possibly even 2 months depending on how busy I will be with catwalk shows, but definitely for the next month. This really saddens me because I absolutely love blogging and I always recieve such lovely comments when I keep the blog posts flowing and as soon as I take a few days off the comments fizzle out and I loose followers sometimes too. So this is why I am writing to say that I will be gone for a few weeks but I will be back!! I have so many things/features I want to do with my blog and some exciting news for when I finish uni too, but for now I guess I have to be patient and concentrate on my uni work, because I only get one shot at this and that scares me! Haha

 

So anyway, I will be gone for a while and if I do post about what I have been up to (which I probably will) it will be on my second blog - www.klei.co.uk - so please go and follow my second blog if you what to see what I am up to in my final few weeks of uni.

 

I promice I will be back in a few weeks, and I will be full time so lots of blog posts and exciting things to share with you! I hope you can all understand the pressure and support me and my blog through the next few weeks :) Thank you, see you soon xxx

I thought I would let you in on a little secret of mine...I actually have another little blog on the side of this one. I started it a little while ago now but I have recently re-started it completely. This blog is basically going to be full of my every day life at the moment being a third year student. Some may think it is a little late to start this now as I only have a mear 2 months left before I graduate, however I want to carry on this blog once I have finished uni too as I have some exciting plans to follow :)

 

It still need a bit of work but I hope that you will give my little side blog a follow and come with me on my journey of my final couple of months at university and face the big bad world with me once I have finished :) You can find my side blog here at www.klei.co.uk

Charity Shop Haul

Last Thursday I went charity shopping with two of my friends and we found a whole bunch of goodies, so much so that I thought I would share them with you. We went to Cosham, Fareham and Eastleigh; all of which are amazing for charity shops. I always find atleast one thing when shopping in each of these places so you can imagine me and my friends having a feild day when we went to all three in one day!

Hello sweeties,

 

Long time no see, again! I thought I'd take a few snaps of my outfit in my new set up. What do you think? I decided to put them all in black and white because I still haven't seen able to decorate yet! So the walls are a lovely shade of bright blue and lime green...why would I decorate? I hear you say...

A cheeky sneak peek...

 

Hey there, lovelies!

 

I thought I would fill you in on what I have been up to today as I have lacked slightly with my blog since I blogged every day last week!

 

Anyway, today I began to make an outfit for my final collection and I wanted to show you a sneak peek. The fabric I have chosen is so so pretty, I think, with gorgeous colours and a real illustrative style of print. It reminds me so much of Cicely Mary Barker's 'Flower Fairy' books which is why I chose it for my collection. I have added in a little clear plastic throughout the collection too to make it a little more edgey and contemporary.

 

And before I get too carried away I am going to leave it there and let your imagination run wild with what this particular outfit could look like ;) I will post up my whole collection after it has been handed in and marked which will be the end of June/begining of July.

I won't blabber on too much as frankly I had a terrible nights sleep last night and cuddling up on the sofa with my cat is making me sleepy...(crazy cat lady?)...so who knows what rubbish I could come out with!

 

This is today's outfit. Trying to add a bit of sunshine to my day and pretend it's hot and sunny outside like it should be at this time of the year. *sigh*
